Understanding the Investment in Your New Bathroom

At Sunrise Kitchen & Bath, we believe in upfront pricing and complete transparency. We understand that remodeling your bathroom is a significant investment. Unlike contractors who provide a single, opaque quote, we offer a clear tiered pricing structure designed to help you budget effectively while delivering the quality craftsmanship and stunning design we are known for.

The cost of a bathroom remodel is highly dependent on your choices. To provide a starting point, we have defined three common remodel packages based on the scope and quality of materials chosen for a standard 5’x8’ (40 sq. ft.) full bathroom.

What Determines the Cost of Your Remodel?

Every bathroom is unique. Your final project cost will be determined by three main factors:

1. Scope of Work (The "Gut" Factor):

  • Cosmetic Update: Keeping the existing layout and replacing only fixtures, vanity, and finishes.
  • Full Remodel: A complete tear-out (down to the studs) with new flooring, subfloor repair, new tub/shower, and vanity.
  • Layout Change: The complexity and cost significantly increase if we move plumbing or electrical lines (e.g., converting a single vanity to a double vanity, or moving a toilet).

2. Material Quality (The "Finish" Factor)

The choice between stock, semi-custom, or custom cabinetry, and the selection of tile, countertops (Laminate vs. Quartz/Natural Stone), and fixtures (Standard Chrome vs. Luxury Brass/Matte Black).

3. Unforeseen Conditions (The "Unexpected" Factor)

Our detailed process aims to minimize surprises, but unexpected issues like subfloor water damage, mold, or outdated non-code-compliant plumbing/electrical systems are common in older homes and will require resolution before proceeding.
